Gorgeous hair is attainable for each and every one of us. It just takes a bit of savvy to know how to get it right! Don't look at the celebrities and become green with envy. Use these hair hacks instead! You'll spend minutes on your hair rather than hours, and still look amazing.
1. Sleep On Silk Pillowcases
Silk pillowcases are great for shiny, sleek hair even after 8 hours sleep. Cotton pillowcases can rough up our hair, especially if we toss and turn a lot. You can bet that after sleeping on a silk pillowcase, your hair will feel amazing!
2. Use Sleep In Rollers
By taking a few moments to put sleep in rollers before bed, and then a few moments to take them out in the morning, your hair can look voluminous and bouncy all day long. Read reviews online to find the best sleep in rollers, as some are way better at getting the desired results than others. Then all you need to do is perhaps brush with your fingers and spritz on some hair spray. Not a heavy spray though - you don't want crunchy looking hair!
3. Scrunch In Sea Salt Spray
Sea salt spray, such as one from http://www.blowltd.com/brands/davines, helps to give hair that 'day at the beach' feel. If you want beach babe tresses but you're nowhere near a beach, all you need is a spray like this. Just spray it all over your head, tip upside down, and scrunch away! It'll look messy, in a good way.
4. Use No-Dent Hair Ties
We all need to tie our hair up from time to time, but we shouldn't suffer because of it. Taking hair out of a tie and having a big dent is no fun! To top this off, it seems impossible to straighten out afterwards. To combat this, use no-dent hair ties. These hair ties are said to be gentle on the hair, and perfect for just whipping out whenever you want your hair down and straight with no fuss. Nobody would ever know you had your hair tied up in the first place!
5. Use Quality Hair Products
The higher quality products you use, the better you can expect your hair to turn out. You'll notice that when you have your hair done at the hairdressers, your style seems to last forever. However, when you try to emulate this yourself, it never seems to work. Take a look at the products you're using. If they aren't salon quality, this might be why!
6. Make Pins Your Best Friend
Sometimes, all you need is a handful of hairpins to create a quick and quirky style perfect for just about any occasion. If your hair doesn't seem to be playing ball, try pinning up a few sections here and there to see what kind of cool style you can create.
Now you can have beautiful hair without spending an age doing it. Leave a comment if you'd like to leave any tips of your own!
