Out of the several reviews I did at Diva Likes, majority are nail varnishes. So I guess this is the best time to let you guys know about a nail polish remover, which is an indispensible product for every girl. Since childhood, I have seen my mom using Lakme nail remover and that is the most popular one in the market. But it is a small bottle that finishes off real quick. Moreover, I change my nail paints very often. So I started some research for big quantity of nail removers. I found one such from Enliven brand, which is a British beauty company. Want to know my experience with it? Read on.
About Enliven Active Conditioning Nail Polish Remover:
Enliven is a British Health & beauty company offering products for modern lifestyles. Enliven offers exceptional quality in superb packing at amazing value. Enliven is a modern range of high quality health & beauty products especially created to satisfy today's consumer needs.
Enliven Nail Polish Remover with added conditioner has been specially formulated to help care for your nails whilst removing your nail polish.
Price:
189 INR for 250ml / 8.8 fl oz
Shelf Life:
3 years
Ingredients List:
Acetone, Aqua(water), Glycerin, PPG-40, PEG-60, Lanolin Oil, Methyl Paraben, DMDM Hydantoin, BHT, CI17200, CI 42090.
Directions For Use:
Moisten cotton ball with nail polish remover, wipe gently over the nails to remove the nail polish.
My Experience With Enliven Active Conditioning Nail Polish Remover:
The nail remover comes in jumbo size plastic bottle in a cylindrical shape. The height is almost like the 500 ml Kinley water bottle. It comes with a screw cap and the mouth of the bottle is wide open. There is no nozzle attached. It is very inconvenient to use the bottle. So forget about travelling with it. The liquid appeared slightly purplish in color.
Speaking of its performance, it works just average. I needed several wipes to take off the nail polish of 3 coats. What I noticed is that it doesn't wipe off the color from the corner of the nails. Also, it is not effective for glitter nail paints. I would not call it a good nail remover in anyway. The only mercy it did was there was no drying of nails. Let me sum up the points for you all.
Pros Of Enliven Active Conditioning Nail Polish Remover:
Cons Of Enliven Active Conditioning Nail Polish Remover:
Diva Likes Rating:
2/5
Final Note:
The only reason I bought it is because of its size and the performance was unknown to me. But I would definitely not advice this to the readers even though the price is affordable. This nail polish remover proved useless and is a big dud.
