Many people will tell you that you can't rush the slimming down process. This is true, but there are some things you can do to speed it up! If you use the following workout tricks, I guarantee you'll see yourself shrinking in just a matter of weeks. Enjoy!
1. Exercise For Your Body Type
Everybody has a different body type. There are ectomorphs, who are naturally skinny. Then there are mesomorphs, who are naturally athletic. Finally, there are endomorphs, who are naturally curvy and soft. If you workout tailored to your body type, you should see great results! There are also body shapes; such as pear, apple, and banana. Try to find out yours and use a mixture of the workouts suggested on this page on women's workout routines to get results.
2. Exercise Intensely
You need to make sure that when you work out, you're doing it smartly. Exercising for hours at a time is not smart! Keep your exercises short and sweet, but just make sure you're putting in your all. If you know you've given it everything you've got, then a quick 20 minute body weight session should be enough.
3. Keep Cardio Sessions Short
People think they need to do hours of cardio to get the body of their dreams. Wrong! You should keep cardio sessions short too for the best effect. Try HIIT to make sure you continue to torch that fat and those calories after you've finished your workout. Doing cardio for longer than needed will only eat away at your muscle stores, which won't help you to get your dream body in the slightest.
4. Make Sure You Eat To Support Your Workouts
You need to eat foods to support your workouts, so make sure you aren't skipping meals. Your meals should be full of healthy fats, protein, and a small amount of carbs to keep your body going. If you don't eat enough, you'll more than likely end up bingeing on bad foods later on anyway.
5. Mix Things Up
Do different exercises throughout the week to avoid getting bored. Try a variety of classes and exercises so that you feel more motivated to continue going. Change your routines when you begin to feel bored and also when you feel you've stopped making progress.
6. Drink Coffee Before You Workout
By drinking coffee before a workout, you'll give your metabolism a huge boost. Not only that, you'll feel more alert and ready to give this workout your all! It's better than store bought pre-workouts as it's more natural.
7. Always Have A Rest Day
Having rest days is important, in spite of what you may think. Never work out for more than 6 days out of the week, or you'll do more harm than good! Enjoy your rest day and use it to get ready for another great week of workouts.
These tricks may sound opposite to some of the things you've already heard, but trust me, they really work! Leave a comment if you have any of your own you'd like to add. Thanks for reading!
