Christmas is almost here and I am trying to bring in as many nail art tutorials as I can to all of you. I always think what kind of celebrations have started in London where my sister lives. She always tells me that Christmas is celebrated in a very grand manner and they start their preparations a month before. Here in India also Christmas is celebrated on a grand scale. In school days, one of my teacher used to dress up like Santa and distribute gifts and chocolates amongst us. It was so much fun that time. Coming to today's nail art, I bring to you Christmas Lights nail art tutorial. Lights are something which accentuate our celebrations. Imagine how dull it will look if we don't decorate our houses with lights during special occasions. These days new designs and beautiful patterns of lights are available in the market. For Christmas, churches and houses are decorated with lights and that compelled me to come here with this nail art. Read on to know how you can achieve this.
Things Needed:
Procedure:
Start by applying two coats of white nail polish and let it dry completely to avoid any mess up.
Take some black nail polish in the nail art brush and draw a random pattern to make the wire of your lights. Repeat the same for all the nails but make sure each pattern is in different shape from the other.
Now start making small bulbs using the different shades of nail colors in alternative positions. Make them the way we used to draw leaves in school.
Complete making bulbs on all the nails and then apply the top coat.
Your Christmas lights are ready to glow.
I am thinking how appropriate they would have looked if I did them with a glow in the dark nail polish. Since I was not having any such nail color, I did in a simple way. Next year maybe I would try them with a glow in the dark nail polish. I hope you liked this simple and easy nail art. Do let me know your views in the comments below!
