The other day when I went for shopping to buy few winter essentials as the chill already started, I realized how the price bar for every product is increasing at an insane rate. Forget about using luxury brands, the price of the regular ones are increasing at a faster rate. Almost every brand is raising their prices when a particular item becomes popular in the market. Therefore, for makeup addicts like us, it is becoming so difficult to hoard and try new products. Thankfully, there are few brands that don't raise the price bar drastically and simultaneously give us some amazing quality products. I am going to review one such product, i.e., Maybelline Color Show Nail Lacquer Pinkalicious.

My Experience With Maybelline Color Show Nail Lacquer Pinkalicious 002:

The lacquer comes in a small cylindrical glass bottle with a black plastic screw cap where the number and shade is inscribed on. The glass bottle is quite hard to survive careless falls. It is extremely travel friendly due to its cute size and fits in any purse. The shade of the nail color is pearl baby pink with micro shimmers. The color could be a close dupe for nude metallic lacquer for the girls with extreme fair skin tones. The shade looks stunning in sunlight whereas in dark light it makes my hands look slight dusky. It is a very suitable color to wear for office without being too loud. The consistency of the nail polish is neither too runny nor too thick and it gives a clean and neat metallic finish. Due to its consistency, it requires only 2-3 coats to make the shade come opaque on the nails. However, the applicator brush was a bit disappointing this time. It can cause a lot of streaks if careful attention is not being paid while applying the coats. The bristles are too soft and sometimes cause a lot of mess.

Speaking of the staying power of the lacquer on the nails, it faired decent. It stayed on my nails for 3-4 days and then the corners started chipping slightly. Overall, it is another little cute lacquer from Maybelline Color Show family that comes with an easy price tag that won't pinch your pocket.
