Hello my lovely readers! It was just around 6-7 months back that I actually realized the importance of eye primer and how effectively it enhances our eye makeup. Today I am here with the review of an eye primer palette from Sleek Makeup. When I got the opportunity to try out Sleek eye primer in my Luxola haul, I was elated. Sleek, as a brand, is known as the holy grail of eye makeup for various beauty bloggers and I couldn't agree more. I have been using one of their palettes and I must say that they are amazing. An eye primer generally comes as a base or in a single color but Sleek has come out with primers of various colors. So, how effective will it be in enhancing the eyeshadow? Let's find out.
About Sleek Makeup i-Divine Eye Primer:
A palette of 12 eye primers designed to be used with all Sleek Makeup eyeshadows. You can find your base color from a selection 12 shades which can be used to enhance and intensify your chosen eyeshadow.
It is a light cream formula that intensifies shades giving the truest color pay off, providing a good base and prolonging the wear of your eye makeup look.

Shelf Life:

Ingredients List:
Ozokerite, Ceresin, Beeswax, Ethylhexyl palmitate, Paraffinum liquidum, Isopropyl Myristate, Propylparaben, Bht, Mica, titanium Dioxide (CI77891), Blue No.1 Lake (CI 42090:2), Ultramarine (CI 77007), Red No.7 Lake (CI 15850:1), Black Iron Oxide (CI 77499), Yellow Iron Oxide (CI 77492), Hydrated Chrome Oxide Green (C1 77289), Red Iron Oxide (CI 77491), Yellow No. 5 Lake (CI 19140:1)
Directions For Use:
Choose a similar primer shade to your chosen eyeshadow and use your fingertips to blend evenly across the eye socket before applying eyeshadow.
My Experience With Sleek Makeup i-Divine Eye Primer:
The palette comes in an encased card box and the packing is extremely light weight. The beauty of the palette is that it is totally slender and fits in your purse for carrying around easily. The palette has 12 different colors and you can choose the desired color closest to your eyeshadow. There is a double tip applicator provided with it but it totally seems useless. You can neither swipe the color nor blend it properly.
The primers are creamy in texture and the pigmentation varies color to color but I just cannot complain about that because these are not meant to be worn alone. Let's see the colors in details.
Moonshine: It is a frosty white silvery primer, average pigmentation. The color can be a good option for popping up any bright color on the eyelid.
Calypso: It is a frosty cobalt blue with lots of shimmers and decent pigmentation. This shade can be used underneath any eyeshadow of the blue family. The color brings out the deep blue on the eyelid very well.
Ultra Violet: It is a shimmery purple primer with plum undertones which can be used both for pink and purple eyeshadows. It is also decently pigmented.
Noir: It is the classic black shade which goes with any black eyeshadow and in fact it is one of the signature shades of Sleek Makeup. It has good pigmentation and works well though the shimmers are slightly stubborn.
Peach: I do not know why they have named it peach because the shade is nothing more than frosty light pink champagne with good pigmentation. The color works great with baby pink eyeshadow and on the brow bone.
Money Tree: It is a frosty green shade with lots of micro shimmers with good pigmentation. The color works well with eyeshadows of the green family.
Dare Devil: This is one of the most pigmented matte primer of all the 12 colors and a total favorite of mine. It is of red color with pink undertones and can be a great color for bridal makeup for both red and pink eye makeup.
Pink Frost: It is exactly what the name suggests – frosty pink with shimmers with decent pigmentation. The color would work great with pinks, mauves and purple.
Silver Lining: This is a typical silver primer with good pigmentation. The primer works well with array of silver and grey.
Truffle: This is a frosty brown with shimmers with decent pigmentation. It works very well with brown, taupe and dark coffee color.
Money Honey: It is a pale yellow cum golden sheen with shimmers and good pigmentation. The color would work very well with golden and bronze.
Hot Wired: It is a shimmery copper orangish primer with a good pigmentation. It works well with copper, orange and deep peaches.
These primers are creamy in texture and require to be blended thoroughly. If you have oily lids, you have to set it with a pressed powder or else it will badly crease. As I have dry eyelids, I just do it away with blending. The primer works well in bringing out the intense color of your eyeshadow and also mix and matches well. The only question that intrigues me is that out of 12 shades, 11 of them have shimmers and hence it won't work well with matte shades. However, it starts creasing or fading after 5-4 hours in winter and I guess the staying power will decrease in summer heat.

Diva Likes Rating:
3.5/5
Final Note:
It is a unique palette of primers and helps to intensify the colors a lot. Honestly speaking, I expected a lot from Sleek as they are very good with eye products. This palette, nevertheless, will do some good for beginners and amateurs. Considering its price, it is still a great buy.
