Hello dolls! Hope all of you are doing great. I admit to being irregular on Diva Likes these days, all thanks to my sudden mood swings. Sometimes I become really blank and sloppy. Now that is something which is a matter of research. I even had the final exams of my students going on and that also added to my sloppiness. I only have textbooks in my mind with never ending questions. Few days back I had a haul from Nykaa when the women's day sale was going on. I got some herbal personal care products because they had great discounts going on. The reviews will soon start pouring in. After I had placed my order, I realized that I was in dire need of a good colored eyeliner pencil as I was bored of using black on my eyes. So I just went to a local store near my place and got the Lakme Eyeconic Kajal in brown for myself. I have already used Lakme Eyeconic Kajal in blue and this time I wanted a dark brown or grey color as these shades are more wearable. I couldn't find a better option than Lakme Eyeconic Kajal. Dig in to know more about the product and how much it scored from me.

My Experience With Lakme Eyeconic Kajal Brown:
Packaging: Lakme Eyeconic Kajal Brown comes in the classic eyeconic black retractable pencil form. The cap is tight and secure. The shade name is printed on a thin strip at the base of the pencil. Retractable mechanism pencils are preferred any day as they don't need sharpening and hence prevent unnecessary product wastage. The packaging is good but I wish it came in color coded outer color just like the Eyeconic White. It could have helped in easily locating the pencil.
Shade: The color of the pencil is dark chocolate brown devoid of any shimmers. It is completely matte making it a wonderful dark brown shade perfect for people who don't want to go over the top in their everyday look. It's a perfect wearable shade just the way I wanted and looks great if smoked out a little for that sultry and chic look. It will show up great on fair to medium skin tone people but not much on dusky beauties.
Texture: The texture of the kajal is very smooth and glides on easily. You need not keep tugging it to show up. I find the texture to be more smooth and creamy than Maybelline Colossal kajal. Even on the waterline it glides easily and does not give you burning and watery eyes. I think the formula is same as their blue and black variant which I have used before.
Pigmentation: The pigmentation is quite impressive. On my eyelids, a single swipe is good to go but on my oily waterline, I need two swipes for the color to build up. I don't mind applying 2-3 swipes as I find the color to be very pretty.
Staying Power: As mentioned in my earlier product reviews, I have very watery eyes. The small crease makes the kohl on my eyelids to smudge more. Lakme Eyeconic Brown kajal stays put on my eyelids for 5-6 hours after which it starts fading. It needs time to set in post-application after which it does not budge. On my waterline, it gives good color pay off for 4 hours, after which it starts loosing intensity but stays on the waterline till I remove it with my makeup remover. Thankfully, it does not give raccoon eyes as if you have not slept for ages.
Pros Of Lakme Eyeconic Kajal Brown:
Cons Of Lakme Eyeconic Kajal Brown:
Diva Likes Rating:
4/5
Final Note:
I truly recommend this to all of you. This is absolutely a good purchase as the price tag is not going to pinch your pocket. The shade is a beautiful dark brown color perfect for day to day look when black seems to be a bit stark and you need something subtle. I am very happy with my purchase as I wanted something wearable but not black and I found the match.

- Beautiful matte chocolate brown shade.
- Water-proof and gives a good staying power.
- Smooth texture makes it easy to apply.

Cons Of Lakme Eyeconic Kajal Brown:
- The same color code packaging of all the eye pencils makes it difficult to locate from a pile of same eye pencils.
- Ingredients list is missing.
