Hello! Hope all of you are doing great. The recent massive earthquake in Nepal has left the beautiful country devastated. I have been there twice and it is indeed a place of rich heritage and beautiful architecture. The earthquake victims are now taking shelter on the roads of Nepal and it's a heartbreaking sight. Thankfully my relatives have not experienced any physical injuries. We also experienced few tremors last two days but thankfully did not cause any damage. Let's hope and pray for people who have lost everything in India and Nepal in this earthquake. May they remain strong and defeat the nature's fury. Coming to today's post, I am going to review the last product from my recent haul. I picked up Vaadi Herbals Sun Shield Skin Revitalizing Strawberry Scrub because I was intrigued by its name. It mentioned scrub lotion in the website and I was curious to know what a scrub lotion is. But when I received the product I saw that the word lotion was nowhere on the bottle. But still I decided to try it and will share my experience today.
About Vaadi Herbals Sun Shield Skin Revitalizing Strawberry Scrub:
This complex has been specially formulated to pamper your delicate skin and undo the harshness of sun-exposure. Green Apple and strawberry mildly exfoliate skin, ridding it of dead cells and tanning. Both being anti-oxidants, protect the skin from UV damage to reveal a smoother and younger complexion.
Strawberry: Lightens and softens the skin.
Green apple: Reduces pigmentation and tanning.

My Experience With Vaadi Herbals Sun Shield Skin Revitalizing Strawberry Scrub:
First and foremost I was not intended to buy a scrub as I already have three scrubs lying on my stash. I was curious to buy something called scrub lotion but when I saw it, this product turned out to be just a scrub. Since I couldn't throw it away, I decided to try it. Vaadi Herbals Sun Shield Skin Revitalizing Strawberry Scrub comes in a white bottle form with a flip open orange cap. The cap is tight and I have tried squeezing the product to check if it leaks, but that is not the case. So I can say that it's a travel-friendly packaging. The scrub is off white in color with minute brown granules which look like walnut shell powder. It smells completely of sweet strawberries just like their Vaadi Herbals Skin Exfoliating Strawberry Scrub Face Wash with mulberry extracts which I have already reviewed.
The texture of the scrub is smooth, but I find the granules to be a little harsh to be used on the face. So I am using this scrub for my body instead of the face. The scrub spreads easily and it's easy to smooth out. It makes skin softer and smoother without drying even a bit which was quite surprising. It removes the dead skin cells by exfoliating them. But apart from these points it does nothing. It neither lightens the skin nor does it reduces the tan. I don't have any pigmentation problem so I really cannot comment on that. But it's just a scrub I prefer using for the body and not the face.

After reading the review you all can guess that I am not going to recommend this product to anybody. It's an average product which serves the purpose of a scrub to be used on the body as I find the granules to be rough. It exfoliates away dead cells without drying the skin but it does not reduce tanning or lighten the skin.
