Eye brushes are something I am pretty obsessed with. Well, to be specific, I am fond of eye makeup and tools. From foundation to bronzer, I use the face products once in a blue moon but eye makeup is something without which I never leave my home. Eye makeup is basically impossible for me without eye tools and brushes. I have heard some people say that eye makeup consumes a lot of time, but I have never faced any such issue ever. The sole reason is the eye brushes. If you use right brushes, complete eye makeup would hardly take 10 minutes. Speaking of that, I have brought this eye contour brush from Kent. Somewhere I read that fluffy angled brush makes a great blending tool for deep-set eyes and therefore I wasted no time in grabbing this opportunity. Let's see how the brush worked for me.
About Kent TWMU3 Angled Eye Contour Brush:
Made using the highest quality materials, soft natural hair to apply powder products and advanced synthetic fibers to apply liquid and cream products.
Price:
799 INR
Directions For Use:
Use to shade and blend eye shadows. Use this brush to work dark colors near the lash line and paler colors to the brow line.
My Experience With Kent TWMU3 Angled Eye Contour Brush:
To start with, the brush comes in a plastic zip pouch which is extremely sturdy and travel-friendly. The size isn't of a regular brush, it is a little small but nowhere it affects the purpose and is easy to carry around. Overall, it is a very cute packaging. The brush has a fiber handle and slightly bloated in the middle. This gives a good grip and hold while using. It is extremely light-weight and you can easily handle it without much fuss.
The bristles are brown color and are made of soft natural hair as per the claims. The hairs are densely packed with a slightly flat hold in angled fluffy shape. The bristles are amazingly soft and don't poke the sensitive eye area at all. Due to the softness, it is much easier to handle as well. The angled shape eases the blending of colors very conveniently both on the crease area as well as brow bone. To apply the eyeshadow with this brush creates a few fallout issues, therefore, I would suggest using this brush solely for blending purpose. Another advantage of the brush is that it also helps in applying cream products or primer over the eyelid. The blending is seamless and effortless and that is what makes the brush stands out.
The size of the brush is perfect for medium to big eyes. However, very small eyes or small hooded eyes might face a bit difficulty in blending the eyeshadow precisely but it can still be used for applying concealer and primer. I generally clean the brush with a cleanser every time I use it and deep clean it properly once in a week or so. There has been slight shedding of few handful of bristles when I deep cleaned the brush for the first time and ever since then there is absolutely no shredding at all.
Overall, this is a good all-purpose blending eye brush that can be used regularly for both concealers and eyeshadows. Although the value may be slightly high but it is worth the price. I have used this brush in the Traditional Golden Eye Makeup Tutorial.
Pros Of Kent TWMU3 Angled Eye Contour Brush:
Cons Of Kent TWMU3 Angled Eye Contour Brush:
Diva Likes Rating:
4.5/5
Final Note:
The advantages of the products are totally overpowering the disadvantages and therefore I am totally happy with the way this brush has worked for me. I would recommend the brush both for beginners and professionals because it has multi-purpose blending uses.
