Hello, girls! How was your weekend? I went out to watch Bajrangi Bhaijaan for a change with my boyfriend. Even though I am not much of a Salman Khan fan, this movie was heartwarming and a delight to watch. Speaking of cosmetics, nowadays I am high on the whole Maybelline Color Show Go Graffiti range where each and every one is a masterpiece. It would be a difficult choice for any fashionista to choose any one or two from the range and I am so lucky to have experience all of them, all thanks to Lavanya. Coming to today's review, blue has always been my cult favorite color and with such a vibrant option of graffiti art, I am currently obsessed with this one.

My Experience With Maybelline Color Show Go Graffiti Nail Polish Blue Beats 807:
Packaging: The nail lacquer comes in a small cylindrical glass bottle with a black plastic screw cap that has the shade name and number inscribed on it. Due to the transparent packaging, it is easy to identify especially when you have numerous Color Show bottles. Overall, it is a cute sturdy bottle for a nail varnish.
Shade: Blue Beats is a fun graffiti top coat. It is a clear gel base loaded with black and sky blue medium hexes, tiny black dots, and thin black stripes. This one is a total fun to try out on top of various colors like coral, purple, lavender, bright blue and so many more. This one can be used in numerous nail arts for the extra effect.
Texture: As it is loaded with numerous particles, the consistency is a bit thicker than regular nail polish but the application can be done smoothly. The particles settle down smoothly and there is no rough or gritty finish. Instead, it settles down into a semi-glossy finish. The hexes or stripes don't interfere with the fabrics.
Applicator Brush: The brush is slightly less dense than regular Color Show nail polishes, but it is very efficient for application and prevents forming bubbles or streaks during application.
Pigmentation: Although it is a clear base, with a single coat only you can get enough hexes, dots or stripes. In the swatches, I used a single coat only but if you want to make it more packed, I guess second coating will be enough. So, pigmentation wise this is a definite winner.
Staying Power: My experience with most of Maybelline Color Show Go Graffiti has been impressive when it comes to staying power. Irrespective of a top coat, it stays on my nails for 5-6 days and after that I saw that the hexes start chipping from the corners. So, in my opinion is has a good longevity on nails. The only concern is the removal as the base comes off easily, but the hexes, dots, and stripes become a real mess. Well, for such a funky nail art, I wouldn't consider this con at all.
Pros Of Maybelline Color Show Go Graffiti Nail Polish Blue Beats 807:
Cons Of Maybelline Color Show Go Graffiti Nail Polish Blue Beats 807:
Diva Likes Rating:
5/5
Final Note:
A fancy funky blue graffiti with such an affordable price tag is definitely a rare thing, at least to me. Although the whole Color Show Go Graffiti range is a steal, I would highly recommend Blue Beats.
