It's almost the end of the year and it feels as if yesterday we celebrated the onset of 2015. Time passes so quickly! I had been experimenting some nail art tutorials in my previous posts and will continue with Cherry Blossom Nail Art tutorial today. Cherry blossom is actually a flower of the tree of Prunus genus. It is mainly a symbolic flower for Japan. They hold a lot of rich cultural symbolism in Japan. It's known by the name Sakura there. These flowers look very beautiful when they bloom. It is also popular all over the globe that every year the onset of spring is celebrated with the National Cherry Blossom Festival in Washington D.C. I can wait no longer to show you guys how to do this Cherry Blossom Nail Art.
Things Needed:
Procedure:
Apply two coats of the base color. Let it dry completely.
Take the striping polish and draw some random freehand branches of the trees. No need to be perfect here and you can just do it freehand. The number of branches you do on a single nail will depend on the size of your nail.
Using the dotting tool or toothpick dipped in white polish, draw 3 dots together to make the flowers. Keep some space between two flowers.
Now take another dotting tool dipped in pink polish and put one dot at the centre of the flower.
Once the whole design has dried, add a layer of the top coat. You are done!
I hope you find this design pretty and the tutorial helpful. The design looks difficult but once tried it is super easy. Do try it once!
