Moving Money For Better With Western Union #ChainOfBetters Project

It only takes one person, and one act of kindness, to inspire others and create change. I realized this after watching my parents who are always giving and selfless when it comes to helping others. As a child, I never really understood why helping others is so important when we get nothing in return. But it is only as the time passed by that I understood the importance of such acts of kindness helps the economy to prosper and contributes to a better society. More than anything, the happiness and peace we achieve in doing something for others is beyond compare. Be it moving money for the better or sharing our happy occasions with others, giving people is always inspiring. When I came across Western Union "Chain Of Betters" initiative, I recollected some wonderful deeds my parents keep doing, which always inspires me to contribute for a better society.

Among the generous acts of helping, I want to share one act which makes me feel proud of my parents. Right from the time I was born till today, we have the same old maid who works for our family. Her kids are my age and it is because of my parents help that she was able to cope up with the school and college fees of her three kids. Now they are all doing good in their respective fields and are ever grateful to our family for the help they received. Not just in the form of money, but our family also shares all the happy occasions with them where we all celebrate with lots of food and wine, have fun and spend great times together.

It is truly said that when money moves, better things happen. A business expands. A family connects. A child goes to college. Emergency aid arrives the moment it's needed. It helps an opportunity open and heals a community. Western Union does the same where the money sent by the customers helps to stimulate economies and make individuals' lives more rewarding and fulfilling. Moving money for better means moving money for a better world – creating value for individuals, businesses and for society. The Western Union does this together every day.
