Face packs are something I am really hooked onto. They rejuvenate the skin so well and give a certain radiance that I totally adore. Multani mitti is my favorite which works brilliantly on my oily skin. In summers, I used it with rose water or lemon juice and in winter, I use it with curd or milk to provide a layer of hydration. Khadi Fruit Herbal Face Pack has already been in the market for a long time now and thanks to Diva Likes that I got to try it. Khadi products are extremely good as they are herbal and whatever little I have used from the brand, turned out really good. So, here's the detailed review of Khadi Fruit Herbal Face Pack after using it for a month.
About Khadi Fruit Herbal Face Pack:
Khadi Natural Fruit Face Mask is very effective as it provides all necessary vitamins and minerals which are essential for glowing skin. It repairs dead cells and provide nourishment and glow.
Price:
108 INR for 50 g
Ingredients List:
Apple, Orange Peel, Papaya Seeds, Pomegranate, Cucumber, Sandal, Fullers Earth, Fenu Greek, Neem, Rose Petals, Suhaga, Maghedha, Chironji, Sea Foam, Berberis Aristata, Brassica Compestris.
Directions For Use:
Take 5 gms of Khadi face pack neem and mix it with rose water, plain water or milk. Apply a thin layer all over your face, neck, shoulders and chest area. Leave on at least for roughly 10-15 minutes. Splash with water and then gently scrub to exfoliate. Rinse off.
My Experience With Khadi Fruit Herbal Face Pack:
Khadi Fruit Herbal Face Pack comes in a round cylindrical steel container with a lid. Inside the container, there is a transparent packet which contains the fruit face pack powder. Now, the packaging overall is extremely messy and the moment I opened the lid for the first time, it was a sheer mess. I had to transfer it to a screw lid container before the swatches.
Overall, they should really improve the packaging and make it more convenient to travel with.
The powder is pale yellow is color, exactly what raw multani mitti looks like. It is very finely milled and the moment you are careless, it is going be muddled. It has a soothing tangy smell that stays even when you are applying it. Now coming to its efficacy, it fails horribly. I have used the pack (according to the directions mentioned by the brand) with rose water, milk as well as plain water but it seems like nothing works on my skin. The moment I apply the face pack to the skin, it feels all right but after 2-3 minutes, it starts to sting so badly that it is literally impossible to deal with it. With milk, the intensity of the sting or irritation is slightly low but is still there.
I have oily acne prone skin and the moment I took off the face pack, I saw tiny zits and obnoxious redness all over the face. I rubbed the face with ice for a good 10 minutes after which the sensation was soothed. Amongst other things, I did notice a certain kind of soft glow and cleansed skin. It makes the skin soft but comes with a lot of problems as well.
The ingredients list has apple extract, orange peel, rose petal, sandal, fullers earth, fenugreek, neem etc. which helps in rejuvenating the skin, cleanses the dirt and grime naturally, adds a glow to the skin and takes off the dead cells which we scrub off the face pack while washing. Overall, the face pack does show little benefit but I would not recommend this for acne prone or sensitive skin at all.
Pros Of Khadi Fruit Herbal Face Pack:
Cons Of Khadi Fruit Herbal Face Pack:
Diva Likes Rating:
2/5
Final Note:
The face pack will not suit oily, acne prone or sensitive skin at all and breaks out pretty horribly. If you have normal skin, it might work for you.

Not a big fan of face packs that sting the skin. I better skip this.
