Moisturizer is very important for our skin, no matter if you have dry or oily skin. Lakme is one of the well-known brands in India with beautiful makeup products and even their skin care range is equally good. Their products are easy on the pocket and give you the perfect result you desire. I received Peach Milk Moisturizer from Lakme in my last haul and it has been really beneficial for my skin. I have already finished using the whole bottle during the winter itself. So, let's see the product in detail and how amazing it has been on my skin.
About Lakme Maximum Moisturizer Peach Milk:
A moisturizer that's perfect of dry skin, Lakmé Peach Milk Moisturizer is everything you need to keep your skin feeling and looking nourished during the cold as well as protect it from the harsh rays of the sun.
Price:
100 INR for 60 ml
Shelf Life:
24 months
Ingredients List:
Directions For Use:
Smooth onto cleansed skin on face and neck morning and evening or as desired. Can be worn with or without makeup.
My Experience With Lakme Maximum Moisturizer Peach Milk:
The bottle comes in a sturdy creamy white plastic bottle with a narrow flip open cap. The mouth of the bottle is rather small and there's less chance of taking out too much product at once. It is a great one to travel with when you are going out. It never creates any sort of mess in the bag or pouch, wherever you keep. Overall, it's a decent and efficient packaging to go for.
The moisturizer is rosy white in color with a moderate consistency, i.e., neither thick as butter nor liquid as a lotion. I think this kind of texture is really easy to work with and gets absorbed into the skin within no time. It also doesn't completely vanish but it simply gives a cover of hydration on the skin. The aroma is of peachy-fruity one. The smell is slightly strong but I would exactly call it bothering as the whiff fades off after 10-15 minutes of application.
Speaking of the efficiency, the moisturizer is a great one for normal to oily skin in winter and dry skin in summer. The richness level of the product is extremely good and it nourishes the skin really well. During the initial days of winter (when I was simply lazy to change the face wash I use during summer), it made my skin stretch a bit. But, immediately I used to apply the Peach Milk Moisturizer and it would nourish and replenish the skin really good. The hydration during winter was around 4-5 hours which is pretty decent for a moisturizer during winter. It never made my skin greasy or oily but simply the right amount of hydration required to face the dry and harsh cold winds.
Sometimes when I used to apply foundation (mostly matte) on top of this product, it used to be a great layer of moisturization and also prevented the foundation from sliding down. For dry skin, it would be a great option even during summers. Although, combination to oily skin won't like it for summers at all. The product never broke me out even though I have extremely sensitive acne prone skin. The price, I believe is definitely reasonable for the wonderful product. The only thing I would prefer is the presence of sunscreen in which case you can also use it while going out.
Pros Of Lakme Maximum Moisturizer Peach Milk:
Cons Of Lakme Maximum Moisturizer Peach Milk:
Diva Likes Rating:
4.5/5
Final Note:
As I have oily skin, this is my go-to moisturizer for winter and I hate to experiment with skin care because too many products may break out my skin. I am so glad that this worked so good for my skin. The richness yet non-greasy formula is great and I would really recommend it to the readers.
