As you all know, my experience with Wella Professionals Elements Renewing Shampoo was excellent and since I have used Wella Elements Renewing Hair Mask with it as well, the results turned out to be so good. If you have dry and dull hair like mine, you would know that the conditioner and hair masks play an important role in restoring and renewing the hair texture. It nourishes the strands and gives a healthy volume without making the hair look like straw. I generally prefer using the homemade masks but this was the first time I used a hair mask from a brand. Here's my review on the product.
About Wella Professionals Elements Renewing Mask:
Paraben free repairing mask that intensively restores and preserves the natural inner structure and strength of the hair. Exists in 30 ml, 150 ml, 500 ml.
Price:
175 INR for 30 ml
Shelf Life:
12 months
Ingredients List:
Directions For Use:
Apply to damp hair. Distribute evenly and massage gently into the hair. Leave for 5 minutes with warm towel. Rinse thoroughly. For best results, always use with Elements sulfate free shampoo.
My Experience With Wella Professionals Elements Renewing Mask:
The product comes in a white sturdy tube with a plastic screw cap. Although the packaging is quite simple, it is sturdy and great for travelling. The outlet is small but dispenses the right amount of product ensuring there is no wastage at all. All in all, I loved their small packaging. Coming to the texture of the hair mask, it is rather thick like a cream but spreads wonderfully on the hair. Also, a little product goes a long way and hence the tube would fairly last for 4-5 uses for sure on my below-shoulder-length hair. The smell is amazing just like the Wella Professionals Elements Renewing Shampoo. The mixed whiff of flower and fruit is absolutely enthralling. It also stays after the mask has been washed off.
I generally apply the mask after shampoo because I want the utmost hydration to my hair. Some people also prefer applying it before the shampoo. The hair mask needs to be applied on towel dried damp hair (not water dripping wet) from the mid-length to the ends. I applied in generously as per directions and wrapped it up with a shower cap for around 10-15 minutes. It almost feels like conditioner and is lightweight when applied on hair. It is also very easy to wash off without rinsing. For best results, I use cold water to wash off which gives a nice sheen.
The mask really contributed to the hair ends and it felt very smooth and soft to touch. It controls the frizz to a large extent and enhances the curls from the very first day itself. I generally apply serum to smoothen out but with this hair mask, I didn't as I wanted to see the results. I was surprised how shiny and smooth my hair turned out after drying. The ends looked healthy and the hair was very much easy to control. The mask keeps the hair hydrated for around 3 days in this scorching summers which I feel is quite nice.
It feels extremely lightweight on the hair even though it gives a nice hydration. The product is completely paraben free and hence, there's no issue of chemical abuse. The price point is surely something to think about but if you are having trouble dealing with dry dull hair, this is the one for you.

Cons Of Wella Professionals Elements Renewing Mask:

Final Note:
Wella Professionals Elements Renewing Shampoo and Mask turned out to be so amazing that I am seriously considering to buy the bigger pack once I save up a little bit. If you want a hydrating mask which will also add bounce to your hair and controls frizz, this is surely a great combo to go for.

Super impressive. The combo is worth a try!
ReplyDeleteSurely.. works great on dry hair..
DeleteI have natural curly hair..Liked the combo..But the mask has silicones..Which are not gud for curly hair when u are using this sulphate free shampoo...Also..Can u suggest some styling product to go along with this product..It is definitely a great product..But my scalp gets really oily on 3rd day using this combo..Effect only for wash day and next day..And one more question ..Is it okay to use hair oil before shampoo..Is it able to wash it properly..
ReplyDeleteHey,
DeleteEven I have naturally wavy-curly hair. For styling product, I generally use the BBlunt Blown Away Volumizing Leave-in Spray and Organix Light Moroccan Argan Oil Penetrating Oil. These are great for hair and never damages the hair. Also, it is okhay to use the hair oil before teh hsampoo but make sure you wash off every trace of oil while shampooing. With two washes, you will be able to wash it properly.
