I am much addicted to the loose powder collection in my kitty but this powder really got to me. I was instantly driven by the cutest pink packaging and was dying to try it out. I was also aware of its good quality and thus finally decided to try it out. The shade card really impressed me and therefore I decided to pick up 2 shades (G7 Golden Amber and N6 Nude Honey) for myself. I use one for the whole face while the other for contouring. It has been quite some time that I tried it out and here's my take on the L'Oreal Paris Mat Magique All In One Transforming Powder.

My Experience With L'Oreal Paris Mat Magique All In One Transforming Powder:
Packaging: L'Oreal Paris Mat Magique All In One Transforming Powder comes in a round compact packaging with bright fuchsia accents. The casing involves two separate compartments with the first one as the compact powder itself while the two other one, when you flip it, provides a clean round mirror and a rubbery white sponge. The packaging is decent, attractive and good enough for traveling. The sponge given is average although I would have preferred a softer one. I have never applied powder with a sponge so really can't comment about it.
Shade: Compared to the price range of other compacts, the shade range of this compact is impressive. It caters well to the Indian skin tones ranging from fair to dusky although darker and deeper skin tones might not find a match. Personally, I have a medium tanned complexion and I am a perfect match to the N6 Nude Honey. This one looks a bit dark in the pan but thankfully when I swatched on the face, it turned out really good. It has an abundance of yellow undertones and that really brightens up my skin. Generally, compacts look a bit whitish or ashy on me but thankfully it was a perfect one. Coming to my second pick, I choose the darkest shade G7 Golden Amber which has an abundance of brown and burnt orange kind of look and would generally suit a duskier complexion. This is a shade or two darker than mine and I use it for contouring and subtle bronzing. It works really well and blends flawlessly. For a beginner like mine who just started with contouring, I would say this is a good choice.
Texture: The texture is soft and creamy smooth. The powder is finely milled contrary to other compact powders. That is why there will be no patchiness whilst application. It gives a soft satin finish to the skin instead of the start matte finish. But still I wouldn't recommend this for dry skin as it may really dry them out. It is a perfect choice for oily to combination skin. It also makes my pores look diffused and reduces the imperfections slightly.
Formula: The compact is shine free and oil free. It mattifies the skin with a satin finish and looks flawless. The ingredients contain perlite which controls the shine and oil and slightly makes the skin sweat proof, without blocking the pores and lets the skin breathe on its own. The powder also has SPF 34 and PA+++ making it perfect for daytime wear.
Coverage: The coverage is sheer to buildable, just like any powder one. For blemishes and imperfections, use a concealer or foundation. It doesn't accentuate on fine lines and gives a soft look to the skin. For summers, I simply apply this on top of a primer and I am good to go. The shade N6 Nude Honey has yellow factor slightly and brightens up the complexion.
Staying Power: I tested out the staying power for shine and oil control and saw that my face was shining free for around 3 hours maximum in this hot and humid weather of June. So, the oil control wasn't bad or good but somewhere average. For the price, it fares really well.
