This is my first liquid lipstick and I was very excited to try this one. Liquid lipsticks are priced slightly high in the beauty market and thus I wanted to invest in a shade that I can use for most of the occasions. This is my 'safe-zone' color and I carry it along with me for every occasion. Very recently, I experimented with a bright hot pink shade and when I went out, I realized that the color was too hot and bold for me. I immediately rubbed it off and applied this 402 and it was a relief! Needlessly to say, I have worn this shade so many times and I feel this is the best time to review it. Scroll down to know more about this color.

My Experience With Chambor Extreme Wear Transferproof Liquid Lipstick 402:
Packaging: Chambor Extreme Wear Transferproof Liquid Lipstick comes in a transparent flat body with a screw cap, glossy black in color. It is further enclosed in a cardboard box which has every detail written on it. The screw cap has a slender wand attached to it with an application in the end, which is perfect for application. Since the packaging is transparent, there will be no problem spotting the shade. They have numbered the shades instead of names – which is pretty weird for such a lovely lip color. Overall, the packaging is nice, light weight and easy to carry around.
Shade: This is the prettiest and most versatile mauve I have seen. 402 is neutral pinkish mauve without any shimmer or metallic touch. It is pure matte. When the color is wet, it looks like a neutral pink but the deep-ish mauve comes in when the color actually dries. Now, I neither call this an MLBB nor a deep color – it is simply in between and looks natural. Any kind of eye makeup looks good with this.
Pigmentation: I don't like too much layering on my lips and always look for lip colors which are pigmented. This one is a total rockstar and with a single swipe, it delivers rich and intense pigmentation. I never had to swipe twice ever and this is why I love this lipstick like anything. It hides every pigmentation or blemishes in a jiff.
Texture: The texture is more of a thick and light weight liquid texture (not runny though) and thus it glides on the lips like a dream. It spreads so well and evenly that you will love the application. Now, liquid lipsticks are high-maintenance and therefore you have to scrub off the lips well and make sure they are soft. It is not very forgiving on dry or chapped lips, so you have to be careful. Since my lips have the tendency to turn dry, I wear a thick layer of lip balm underneath. The lip color takes quite some time to dry as well.
Finish and Formula: The finish is strictly matte and gorgeous. It is not a parched matte but a comfortable one where it doesn't dehydrate the lips at all. Nevertheless, my lips are dry and hence I prefer to apply lip balm underneath. The lipstick says it is transfer proof but in reality it is not. It does transfer slightly but you can control it by dabbing a tissue once it dries. Also, the lipstick is paraffin free and cruelty free. The formula is comforting and lasts long.
Staying Power: The staying power of this lipstick is pretty good. It lasted on my lips for around 6-7 hours even with drinks and snacks. It didn't budge at all until I had a full-fledged lunch but then also, 60% of the color remained on the lips. Thus, the staying power is impressive.
