L'Oreal is my trusted brand when it comes to lipsticks. I believe, it delivers what it says. And I am glad I picked up some of the lipsticks from L'Oreal recently, some of which are already reviewed at Diva Likes. This one is my last L'Oreal lipstick review for now until I buy a new one. L'Oreal had come up with its limited edition Swarovski studded lipsticks and I took no time to buy one. I don't know why I buy matte lipsticks knowing fully that matte is not for dry lips. But never mind, let's read further!

My Experience With L'Oreal Paris Color Riche Moist Matte Lipstick Orange Power:
Packaging: This lipstick comes in the most stylish and luxurious packaging ever. It has a dust rose gold packaging with a color-coded block in the center to identify the color. The bullet is adorned with beautiful Swarovski crystals. As they say, a little jewel hurt nobody, more so, when it comes encrusted on your lipsticks. The lipstick was housed in a black velvet outer packaging which was so beautiful to look at; I didn't even feel like ripping it off. By the way, the crystals are just pasted and they can be removed easily. The lipstick is easy to carry around and looks very royal and classy.
Shade: The shade as it says 'Orange Power' is a typical orange color. It's a perfect bright color for the spring. It is without any sheen or shimmer which makes it quite wearable. But I reckon this shade will not suit most of the Indian skin tones as it appears to be a little more orange.
Texture: The name completely justifies the texture, it applies moist and becomes matte. The texture is not creamy, it drags on lips a little but it is not stretchy. After 10 minutes of application, it sets into a complete matte finish. It tends to look dry but I would say it doesn't suck all the moisture from lips. It is very comfortable to wear but exfoliating the lips prior is a must. It does accentuate the dryness and settles into fine lines. Honestly, it's quite irritating for a person with dry lips like mine. A lip balm underneath does solve the problem to an extent but then touch-ups are out of the question. You cannot apply it on already applied layer as it will become patchy and flaky. You need to remove it completely and then apply afresh.
Pigmentation: The pigmentation is rich and buildable. It shows up well on pigmented lips. One stroke is enough with this bright color for me.
Staying Power: Kudus to the staying power, it stayed on me for around 4-5 hours with snacks in between. It fades a little from the center after eating but the color still shows up. Even after fading, it leaves behind an orange tint on lips. But my lips do become little dry after 4-5 hours of wearing this.
Pros Of L'Oreal Paris Color Riche Moist Matte Lipstick Orange Power:
Cons Of L'Oreal Paris Color Riche Moist Matte Lipstick Orange Power:
3/5
Final Note:
I don't know what to say really! It's bad when it doesn't behave nicely on my lips, and it's good when it stays for long. I have tried other moist matte lipsticks from L'Oreal which have my heart, so probably there is something wrong in the formula of these limited edition Swarovski studded lipsticks or maybe something is wrong with this shade.
