Hello, everyone. Hope you all are having a great time. As you all know, I am a big fan of Maybelline Baby Lips and tried almost every variant that has been launched in India so far. In my latest haul, I received the Baby Lips Balm Ball Kiss of Rose, which, by far, is the cutest of all the lip balms I have seen. The packaging reminds me so much of the famous EOS lip balms but this one is a stunner. Read on to know how the product turned out to be.

My Experience With Maybelline Baby Lips Balm Ball Kiss Of Rose:
Packaging: The packaging is surely one of the cutest. It comes in a round base with a holding bar below. The cap has a screw lock system and once you uncap it you will find the round ball of the lip balm. Initially, I thought it would be little difficult to apply but to my surprise, it is so much easier that the stick lip balms. The packaging is small, attractive beyond imagination and easy one to carry around. The name of the shade is written on top of the cap. This little beauty is definitely one of the collector's item to have due to its exclusivity. Overall, I love the packaging.
Shade: The shade 'Kiss of Rose' is a sheer rosy red-pink color and stands true to its name. The color is not strong enough to be passed for a lip color but as a tinted lip balm, it is indeed very pretty. The color can't hide the pigmentation but I have really pale lips so it adds a slight hint of pink which looks glossy and natural. You can also wear the lip balm underneath a lip color.
Texture: The texture of the lip balm is really soft and glides well on the lips. I wouldn't call it thick and creamy at all, instead, it is very light weight and gives no waxy layer to the lips. There is no heavy feeling yet the lips feel soft, nourished and moisturized. It hydrates the lips well and makes it supple over the time. If the lips are way too dry, it does a little to moisture but normal dry lips will love the texture. I always apply underneath a liquid lipstick to keep the lips soft and hydrated.
Formula: The lip balm has been formulated with various nourishing ingredients as well as chemicals. It has a very sweet fruity kind of smell. It is not overpowering but feels nice on the lips overall. The finish is glossy with a sheen but it doesn't bleed at all. Overall, the formula and finish are good.
Staying Power: The lip balm, on its own, keeps the lips hydrated for about 5-6 hours (without food intake) which is pretty good and matches up to the Baby Lips Balm I have used in India. Underneath a liquid lipstick, it really helps a lot and keeps the lips hydrated and supple. It also helps in removing the lip colors which are sticky in nature. The price is slightly high, although I have very less idea for how much Baby Lips Balm are available abroad. I really wish Maybelline would launch these cute lip balms in India too.
Pros Of Maybelline Baby Lips Balm Ball Kiss Of Rose:
Cons Of Maybelline Baby Lips Balm Ball Kiss Of Rose:
Diva Likes Rating:

Final Note:
The texture and quality resemble the Baby Lips we get in India but the Balm Ball packaging is impeccable and for that thing only, this product deserves an applause. I would highly recommend at least owning one of these babies if you get a chance.
