If you thought India already has too many variants of Baby Lips, you sure haven't seen the collection aboard. Maybelline Baby Lips has a variety of products under its main collection and 'Crystal' is a part of it. It is a shimmery lip balm with moisturizing abilities! Directions For Use:

Step 1: Apply lip balm in the center of your upper lip and follow the contours of your mouth.
Step 2: Glide the lip balm across the entire bottom lip.

My Experience With Maybelline Baby Lips Crystal Moisturizing Lip Balm Gleaming Coral:

The product comes wrapped in a cardboard with all the necessary details on the back. The packaging is pretty much like that of Maybelline Baby Lips Electra. It has a long transparent plastic cap with 'Baby Lips' written all over it. Uncapping it, you will see a light pink body with the twist up function. Unlike the version of Indian, the lip balm stick goes completely down and hence there is no chance of nicking the top portion. Overall, the packaging is good, lightweight and travel-friendly.

The first thing I noticed about the lip balm is that it has a sweet aroma of orange popsicle! After a long time, I am trying out this smell and can't tell you how delighted I am! The lip balm looks orange from the outside but the moment you swatch on the lips or hand, it turns transparent. It has fine shimmers in it which get deposited on the lips. It gives a beautiful glossy finish and high shine look without going OTT. This is the perfect pick for school and college goers. It looks simple, chic and pretty.

The texture of the lip balm is lovely. It is light weight and creamy. It glides on the lips like a dream and deposits the right amount of product. Also, there is no sticky or tight feeling on the lips and it feels extremely comfortable. It can also be worn underneath any lip color or lip gloss. However, do keep in mind that the shimmers will interfere slightly with the color. The lip balm provides a good dose of hydration to the lips and there have been times I used this lip balm as a medium to exfoliate the lips along with salt. The only thing is that when you use this one for a long time or consume proper meals, the shimmers spread all over and outside the lips area. This is the only con with the product.
It stays on for a long time, around 4-5 hours without eating anything. It can't survive small meals, though. It keeps the lips hydrated and supple for a long time, even after it fades off on the lips. It gives a fresh look to the lips and is perfect for a no-makeup look. The only thing missing is the SPF factor. Otherwise, the lip balm would have been one of the best things to me.

Final Note:

Although I like to wear the lip balm with SPF, I loved the freshness and reflective element in this one. I would surely recommend this if you love that lightweight shine formula with hydration on the lips.
