I am almost towards the end of the reviews from my huge haul. Experiencing so many products was like a dream for a makeup geek like me. This is the last of the Color Whisper Lip Colors from the house of Maybelline I have been sent in my Diva Likes haul. Maybelline lipsticks never fail to impress and I am keeping high hopes for this one as well. The shade belongs to the nude family and personally it is my favorite color. Read on to know how the lipstick fared with me.

Directions For Use:
Apply lip color starting in the center of your upper lip. Work from the center to the outer edges of your lip, following the contours of your mouth. Then glide across the entire bottom lip.
My Experience With Maybelline Color Whisper Lip Color Go Nude:
Packaging: Maybelline Color Whisper Lip Color Go Nude comes in a slender packaging. It has a translucent terracotta plastic cap with a shining silver body that has the twist-up function of a regular lipstick. The shade name and number are written at the bottom while the range name "Color Whisper" is written in cursive on the cap. The packaging is surely a fresh change from the typical Color Sensational one and I absolutely loved it.
Shade: The shade 'Go Nude' is a sheer beige nude with cool undertones. As the color falls under the range of 'Color Whisper', it sheers out and gives out a beautiful semi-nude sheer lip color. The shade on my lips looks natural MLBB and when paired up with bold eyes, it turns out really pretty. This is the best kind of nude lip color for the ones who are afraid to go pale or too neutral on their lips.
Pigmentation: The pigmentation is sheer but buildable. It is something between a lip balm and lipstick. The color is more pigmented than a lip balm but less pigmented than a lipstick. However, if you prefer proper color pay off, then you would be disappointed. While I always like a well-pigmented lipstick, this color wouldn't look good if it were too pigmented. Therefore, the situation is a win-win for me.
Texture and Formula: The texture is wonderful and reminds me of the lightweight glossy gel lip color. It glides on the lips like a dream come true and hydrates the lips well. However, the color has the tendency to stick to the dry patches and hence prior exfoliation of the lips is much needed. Once done, the lip color will hydrate the lips very well. Thus, you don't need a lip balm at all. The color doesn't bleed or feather at all which I love. However, it does transfer being glossy and creamy.
Staying Power: The staying power of the color is around 3-3.5 hours and after that, it starts to fade off slightly and the lips look natural. The food and fluid intake is largely responsible as the color seems to get removed off completely after heavy meals and then you have to reapply. You can also pair up the color on top of any other lip color you want. Though Maybelline Color Whisper Lip Colors are well priced, their availability in India is a little difficult.
