Let's be honest, I love nail paints. I feel so happy whenever I receive nail paints in my Diva Likes haul. I thank Lavanya for choosing perfect shades for me. So today I am going to review a green shade 'Hot Wasabi' from Sally Hansen I Heart Nail Art Neon Nail Color range. Yes! Green is a good colour for nails as it gives a perfect pop of colour. Let's jump into the review now.

My Experience With Sally Hansen I Heart Nail Art Neon Nail Color Hot Wasabi:
This nail paint comes in a cute slender shaped glass bottle with a black screw cap. It is light weight and travel friendly. The shade is neon green which is bright, light and bold. I am sure it will look good on all skin tones; it's just that you need to pair it up well. As a standalone color, it is not your go to shade for every occasion. The pigmentation is very poor. It requires at least 3-4 coats to show up well on nails and still it doesn't go opaque (FYI- I have applied 3 coats in the swatches). It's quite good for nail arts though.
Talking about consistency, it's on the runny side. It is liquidy and applies unevenly. In the swatches you can see the brush lines which look so messy and bad on nails. But I would like to compliment the brush. It is a good fluffy brush which covers the entire nail bed in one go. The bristles are also very soft.
The nail paint dries quickly and becomes matte after it sets. But, as I said, 3-4 coats are needed and it creates a funny uneven layer on the nails. Having said that, the nail paint still stays forever. It doesn't chip easily and stays for good 3-4 days. The formula of this nail paint is such that it doesn't chip but it peels off. And on removing, it does stain the nails.
Pros Of Sally Hansen I Heart Nail Art Neon Nail Color Hot Wasabi:
Cons Of Sally Hansen I Heart Nail Art Neon Nail Color Hot Wasabi:
Diva Likes Rating:
2/5
Final Note:
It is a good summery color, little tricky to pull off though. I have complaints with its uneven application. Even a beautiful color can look bad if it appears uneven on nails. And that's a major quality which nail paint should have. May be, I can try and use it for my nail arts.
