Hello, everyone! Hope you all are having a great time. Weather in Kolkata is super awesome as it has been raining for 2 days. There is something about the pre-winter rain that I love so much. With my lips slightly dehydrated with the sudden chill, I am more into lip glosses as it imparts color as well as hydration. It also gives me the chance to try out the beautiful lip gloss I received in my haul, which is the Wet n Wild MegaSlicks Lip Gloss Berried Treasure. Wet n Wild products have been both hits and misses for me and thus read on to know whether it is worth to be purchased or not.

Directions For Use:
Apply this lip gloss with the plush applicator directly on the lips.
My Experience With Wet n Wild MegaSlicks Lip Gloss Berried Treasure:
Packaging: Wet n Wild Megaslicks Lip Gloss comes in a cylindrical see through plastic packaging. The body is transparent and enables you to see the shade with the white band around and a glossy black plastic screw cap that has the applicator attached. The applicator is a doe-footed one and helps you to spread and apply the color efficiently. The shade name and number is written on the bottom as well. Overall, the packaging is decent, neat and travel-friendly. For the price, it is good.
Shade: The shade 'Berried Treasure' is a pinkish-plum berry gloss with high shine formula. If you look closely, you will see there are very fine shimmer particles in it which catch the light really well. Initially, I thought it is shimmer free but while applying it I noticed the shimmers which look really great and impart a shine look to the lips. The shade would look good on any skin tone and has a warm touch to it.
Pigmentation: The pigmentation is sheer to medium. It is not strong enough to hide pigmentation but the color deposit is surely noticeable and better than tinted lip balms. What I like is that the color doesn't sheer out with the passage of time, which is common for a lot of lip glosses I have used till date. For the full color pay off, you can layer it on top of any pink to plum lip colors as well.
Texture and Formula: The texture isn't very impressive. It is neither very sticky nor uncomfortable but it is not very light weight as well. I feel it is something in between. But then again the price tag has to be considered because, in this range, it is surely worth having. It is formulated with the goodness of vitamins A & E and aloe vera which moisturizes and conditions the lips. Hence, it is hydrating enough and even if you have dry parched lips, you can slather it on. It also keeps the lips hydrated after it fades away. The formula of the lip gloss is good and it doesn't bleed or feather at all. However, it does transfer a lot to spoons and cups. The lip gloss is cruelty-free as well.
Staying Power: The lip gloss stays for about 2-3 hours on my lips and then starts to fade away. On top of lip colors, it fares well and stays for good 3-4 hours with proper hydration. It does survive little munching and drinks if you are careful but after heavy meals, you surely need to reapply it afresh. The price tag is reasonable and thus you can't complain much about the quality at all.

Wet n Wild MegaSlicks Lip Gloss Berried Treasure has a balance of pros and cons and I believe it is good enough for beginners. If you can survive the stickiness, do give it a try.
