Hello, everyone! When Patanjali first launched, the only product I was addicted to was – the aloe vera gel. I have oily skin most of the time and the safest bet as a moisturizer for me was the aloe vera gel. I wouldn't say that the product did wonders for my skin but thankfully, it never broke me out or dehydrated my skin. A few months ago I saw the launch of the Saundarya Aloe Vera Gel with Kesar Chandan and had to try this as well. Read on to know how the product worked on me.

My Experience With Patanjali Saundarya Aloe Vera Gel Kesar Chandan:
Patanjali Saundarya Aloe Vera Gel Kesar Chandan comes in a plush transparent tube with a yellow flip open cap. The cap works properly and doesn't spill any product at all while traveling and thus there is no tension of leakage. The tube is good enough and enables you to see the product easily. I have no issues with the packaging at all and I would say, overall it has a good packaging.
The gel is more of a runny base than the original aloe vera one. It works mostly on normal to oily skin and doesn't break out sensitive skin like mine. There is a faint fragrance of wood sandalwood. I actually like the fragrance because it is not as strong as some of the aroma I have experienced. The smell might be artificial but nothing bothering at all. The color of the gel is yellow and you need a little product for face and neck. The first thing that attracted me was a slight glow on the skin. Patanjali Aloe Vera Gel never added any glow but it simply hydrated my oily skin.
There are various ways I like to use this product. The first and foremost use is as an oil-free moisturizer. It hydrates the skin, gets absorbed in no time and gives a matte effect without feeling stretchy or dry. I also use it as a night cream when I add few drops of jojoba oil or tea tree oil, occasionally. I have also used the Saundarya Aloe Vera Gel Kesar Chandan in my homemade face packs and it works really well. Overall, the product has multiple uses.
This product works well on my skin and I believe it is truly a good update from the previous Patanjali Aloe Vera Gel. It improves the skin texture and keeps away the dullness, dryness and adds a glorious natural shine to the skin. Having said that, the gel is hydrating only for oily and combination skin in this scorching summer. It might not perform as good on dry skin. The claim of fairness is false but it does enhance the complexion. It will not break out and controls the oil secretion on the skin. The moment you apply the gel on the face, there is a soothing and cooling sensation which my skin loves. This is also very helpful in upcoming summer months.

Saffron has various skin benefits and helps to brighten the skin, enhances the complexion and lightens dark spots, pigmentation. It also adds a luminous glow and the antioxidants in saffron prevents the occurrence of pimples. Sandalwood has anti-tanning and anti-aging properties which provide an even skin texture and prevents sagging. It also contains antibacterial properties to prevent acne and gives you a clear, bright, luminous complexion. Overall, the gel works really well for my skin tone. However, it may take little longer to show results. I have been using this for a month and after that, I started seeing visible effects.
