My Experience With L.A. Girl Pro Conceal HD Beautiful Bronze and Yellow Corrector:
L.A. Girl Pro Concealer comes in a very convenient packaging. It comes in a small squeezable tube with a synthetic brush attached. There is a black screw cap as well. The body is transparent and enables you to see the shade easily. You have to squeeze the tube and dispense the product through the brush. The only thing that concerns me is that with regular usage, the brush becomes unhygienic and harbors bacteria, which isn't good for skin at all. Overall, the packaging is nice, efficient and travel-friendly.
Coming to the shades, they offer around 24+ shades in their range with cool, warm and neutral undertones. You will definitely find a shade suitable for you. The best thing is that you can use them for color correcting, concealing and contouring. The shade 'Beautiful Bronze' is a pretty deep shade, at least 4-5 shades darker than mine. I picked this up for contouring the face and it works pretty well (I have used the shade Beautiful Bronze for contouring in the Christmas Makeup Look tutorial). It has the same warm undertone and gives me the properly contoured look. Coming to the shade 'Yellow Corrector', it is a slightly pale yellow corrector with warm undertones. I generally mix this yellow with my peach color corrector to conceal or with my concealer shade to get a natural brightening effect. What I love about the shades is that you can mix and match very well with other concealers.
The concealers have a good medium to buildable coverage. However, if you try to blend too much, it may sheer out a bit. This is why I apply and let it sit for 10-15 seconds and then blend with a sponge. You can also blend with fingers or brush but I always use a sponge as I am comfortable with that. You can also build up the coverage as per your preference. The texture of the concealer reminds me so much of the MAC Pro Longwear Concealer. I wouldn't definitely call it similar but close enough. It has a creamy liquid consistency but feels extremely lightweight when blended. It spreads so easily that you can use the fingers too for blending. I really liked the formula as it works miraculously good for every skin type. Oily skin simply needs to be set with a powder to make it crease-proof. For dry skin, it will not cling to patches as well.
The finish is natural – neither dewy nor matte. The formula is crease-resistant, waterproof and sweat proof and it won't clog the pores as well. It has never broken me out and photographs really well. I have used various shades from the range and they never looked ashy or whitish, if you choose the shades as per your skin complexion. The staying power is good. It stayed on me for about 5 hours and if you use proper setting powder or spray, it remains for a long time. In winter months, it stayed literally for the whole day. The price tags were justified and it can be used by professionals as well as beginners.
