Hello, everyone. Today, I will be reviewing a mascara, which is one of my favorite eye makeup products. I have used all the volume boost mascara from the house of Maybelline. They really know the lashes game well and my all time favorite is the raved Maybelline The Falsies Mascara. Since last year, Maybelline has launched quite a number of new mascaras like the Magnum Barbie (review coming up soon), Lash Sensational and Push Up Drama. Lavanya sent the Maybelline Lash Sensational Mascara and I have been using it for almost a month now. Read on to know how the product worked for me.

My Experience With Maybelline Lash Sensational Mascara:
Maybelline Lash Sensational Mascara has the pretty similar shape with other mascaras of Maybelline. It comes in a rosy-mauve body with the screw cap that has the applicator wand attached. It is available in two variants – washable and waterproof. I am going to review the waterproof variant. The applicator promises to give you a 'full fan effect' on the lashes. It has the ten layers of short bristles that work pretty well. The wand has a curvy shape and fits nicely. The inner brush adds volume while the outer bristles coats and separates the lashes, preventing clumping. The wand is really good and I prefer it a lot over the Falsies Mascara.
Maybelline Lash Sensational Mascara has a light weight and slightly liquidy texture and coats the lashes well. It feels extremely lightweight on the eyes and doesn't make my lashes crunchy or dry. But the mascara sets pretty quickly, so to prevent clumping do the coats really fast. I generally use the zigzag motion to coat the lashes and it prevents clumping to a large extent. Also, it is a general rule that too many layers will give you unnatural and clumpy lashes. Therefore, I stick to two coats and it gives a nice volume to my lashes.
The mascara doesn't add much length. It holds the curls pretty well and the lashes look fuller even after the whole day. The sensational serum nourishes lashes and unfurls 100% layer to give dramatic looking eyelashes and prevents the dry lashes. The staying power of the mascara is great as it lasts throughout the day. It doesn't flake off from the lashes. The waterproof variant is extremely tough to remove so I would suggest going for the washable variant which has the water resistant power. If you compare with the famous Falsies mascara, I would say this is almost at par.
