The Fit Me range is one of the popular range from the house of Maybelline New York. I have already used and reviewed the Maybelline Fit Me Matte + Poreless Foundation and today I am going to review the Fit Me Concealer. Also, they have launched a compact, blush and stick foundation from the same range. This particular Fit Me Concealer is said to be the drugstore dupe of NARS Radiant Creamy Concealer. This is what made me buy this product. Read on to know my thoughts about the Fit Me Concealer.

My Experience With Maybelline New York Fit Me Concealer 20 Sand:
Maybelline New York Fit Me Concealer comes in a slim rectangular packaging with a black screw cap that has the applicator attached. The body of the concealer is transparent which enables you to see the shade correctly. Also, the shade name and number is written on the bottom and on the side. The applicator is a doe-footed one and quite an efficient one. If you have seen the NARS Radiant Creamy Concealer, you would find an uncanny similarly of the packaging. Overall, it is efficient and travel-friendly.
Coming to the shades, there are only 3 shades launched in India. This is surely one of the major cons of the product. 3 shades are not going to suffice the wide range of Indian skin tones. Even if you use for brightening purpose, the shade card isn't impressive at all. The three shades are 10 Light, 20 Sand, and 25 Medium. Light is for fair pinkish under tones while Medium has salmon undertones. I wanted it for brightening the under eyes and went for the Sand shade which is good for fair-medium with yellow undertones. In fact, the shade is pretty close to NC30. It is obviously 2-3 shades lighter than my usual NC42 skin tone and works well for brightening the under eyes.
Coming to the coverage, it has light to medium coverage. If you have light to medium dark circles, it does a decent job of concealing the under eyes, provided the shades matches you. I have very noticeable dark circles and I usually use a color corrector to hides the blackness pretty well. Then, I use this Maybelline New York Fit Me Concealer for concealing. Since the shade is a bit lighter than my skin tone, it does a nice job of brightening the under eyes without looking ashy at all.
The texture of Maybelline New York Fit Me Concealer is really good. It has a medium consistency, spreads very well with the wand and you don't need too much product. A little goes a long way and it blends flawlessly on my skin. Additionally, the product is also non-comedogenic, dermatologist-tested, ophthalmologist-tested and fragrance-free. It is suitable for every skin tone as it doesn't settle into fine lines at all. Since I use a hydrating cream underneath, I powder my under eyes and the product stays well pretty nicely. The staying power of the concealer is around 5-6 hours in summer. Considering the price tag, it is a pretty nice brightening concealer.

Maybelline New York Fit Me Concealer is exactly what I have hoped. Since it is a drugstore product with a price tag of 500 bucks, I am not expecting a miracle. Otherwise, it works pretty well as a brightening concealer and the texture is exceptionally good.
