I have already used the Lakme Blush & Glow face wash and mask and when Lavanya sent me the scrub version, I was excited to see how it works on my skin. Although Blush & Glow face wash and mask turned out to be pretty average as I have oily acne prone skin, the products were beneficial for normal to dry skin. This time when I was traveling to my brother's place, I decided to try out the scrub variant because the weather is pretty damn cool there. Read on to know my experience with it.

My Experience With Lakme Blush & Glow Face Scrub with Strawberry Extracts:
Lakme Blush & Glow Face Scrub with Strawberry Extracts comes in an eye-catching red tube which is pretty sturdy, accompanied by the white screw cap. There is a small opening from where you can take out the product. The pack has every instruction carefully printed on the back and overall, the packaging is sturdy, efficient and well suited for traveling.
The scrub is cream based. It has a medium-thick off-white creamy base with relatively small brown granules. The granules are neither very soft nor very harsh which is why a number of skin types can use it. The creamy base is hydrating and thus doesn't dry out the skin post scrubbing. There is a faint smell of artificial strawberry and refreshes the skin very well.
For my skin type, I generally stick to scrubbing once a week. Since I had used the product in a hot and dry climate, I used it twice a week to keep the skin glowing and radiant. The scrub lathers slightly and helps to get rid of dead cells and blackheads. However, the blackhead issues are nominal. If you have sensitive skin, make sure you are gentle with this scrub. It cleanses off the skin very well and takes off oiliness. However, the necessary hydration is retained and thus the skin doesn't feel stretchy. I didn't see the kind of radiance I get with a walnut scrub but it merely removes the dead cells. The skin feels smooth to touch and soft as well.

Although it didn't break me out in the dry weather, the moment I used it in the hot and humid weather of Kolkata, I started breaking out slightly.
