I am forever addicted to nail polish. And thus, nail remover is a complimentary product you have to keep in the stash. I hate chipped nail polish on hands and thus make it a point of changing my nail color every 4-5 days. There are two of my favorites till date for nail color remover – Lakme and Sally Hansen Strengthening Polish Remover. I had no knowledge that Maybelline also has a nail polish remover until I received in my Diva Likes haul. I have been trying and testing the product for a couple of months and almost finished the bottle. I believe this is the best time to review the product in detail about my experience.

My Experience With Maybelline Color Show Nail Color Remover:
Maybelline Color Show Nail Color Remover comes in a small glass bottle which is transparent and enables you to see the bluish colored liquid. It is enclosed with a small black screw cap. Opening the cap, you would find a small opening to dispense the product which is perfect in my opinion. It is leakage proof, mess free and prevents wastage. Although the glass bottle is bothersome while traveling (I prefer nail remover wipes while traveling) I found the packaging decent and efficient.
The nail polish remover is light blue in color with the consistency that of water. It is non-sticky light weight and works properly on nails. The fragrance has a strong note of alcohol with a slight artificial scent but nothing obnoxious at all. Unless you smell it too closely, you are fine.
The performance of the nail remover is good but not extraordinary. It removes normal nail lacquers (Maybelline Color Show Nail Lacquers, Lakme 9 to 5, etc.) pretty nicely and also works well for gel finishes and matte finishes (like Nykaa matte ones and the Maybelline matte one). Coming to the glittery finishes, it takes some time though. Thus, it is not extremely heavy duty (like my Lakme Nail Polish Remover) but surely works fine on a daily basis.
I tried hard for the ingredients list but I could find any. All I saw was 'Vitamin E' written but the nail remover does dry the nails out post removal. Thus, a moisturizing cream, nail cream or oil is pretty much important if you have dry nails. However, there is no whitish layer left behind and the remover doesn't harm the nails too much. Also, you don'trequire too much product for nails. It never irritated my skin or nails at all and it is quite safe to use. Thus, I really liked the bottle and would recommend the same.
